  74. ===== Information for Users ("READ-ME") ================
  75.  
  76. This distribution contains a 1-port full featured evaluation copy of the
  77. Foray PPP Server. The Foray PPP Server is a DOS based server that
  78. supports remote access using the IP and IPX protocol families.  Remote
  79. workstations can dial in over standard telephone links using high
  80. performance modems.  The Foray server answers the phone, authenticates
  81. the user and attaches the remote workstation to the LAN.  Subject to
  82. security constraints, the remote user can then access all LAN-based
  83. resources, including SQL servers, file servers, web servers and gateways.
  84.  
  85. While this evaluation version only enables 1 port, Foray PPP Servers
  86. are available for a broad range of connectivity needs.  TechSmith
  87. offers a four port server using an economical 4 port buffered serial
  88. card.  The intelligent communication board version can support
  89. configurations of 8, 16, or 32 sessions per server.

  92. This is not part of the Foray PPP Server product but is available from

  154. end of 30 days you must purchase a license in order to continue

  159. electronically or on media in machine-readable object code form.

  163. right to any enhancement or update to the Software and Documentation.

  239. the Software and Documentation.  You may also terminate this Agreement
  240. at any time by destroying the Software and Documentation and all
  241. copies thereof.  Your obligations to pay accrued charges and fees
  242. shall survive any termination of this Agreement.

  244. MISCELLANEOUS.  This Agreement represents the complete and exclusive
  245. statement of the agreements concerning this license between the
  246. parties and supersedes all prior agreements and representations
  247. between them. It may be amended only by a writing executed by both
  248. parties.  THE ACCEPTANCE OF ANY PURCHASE ORDER PLACED BY YOU IS
  249. EXPRESSLY MADE CONDITIONAL ON YOUR ASSENT TO THE TERMS SET FORTH
  250. HEREIN, AND TSC AGREES TO FURNISH THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION

  253. any reason, such provision shall be reformed only to the extent

  256. or (ii) of the remaining provisions hereof under all circumstances.
  257. Headings shall not be considered in interpreting this Agreement.
  258. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under California
  259. law as such law applies to agreements between California residents
  260. entered into and to be performed entirely within California, except
  261. as governed by Federal law.  This Agreement will not be governed by
  262. the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale
  263. of Goods, the application of which is hereby expressly excluded.

  266. the Government is subject to restrictions set forth in subparagraphs
  267. (a) through (d) of the Commercial Computer-Restricted Rights clause

  269. the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at DFARS
  270. 252.227-7013, and in similar clauses in the NASA FAR Supplement.
